Last Friday was the screening of “Dead End“. A short film produced by IFAN for the Dutch broadcast station Veronica and its storycatcher series. With this project Veronica supports talented, starting production companies in The Netherlands.
I had a great time as boom operator on set at the end of November, sharing the job with my friend and colleague Elena Martin Hidalgo.
The set pictures are by Niki Bruckner, another friend and fine colleague.

Synopsis
Because of a robbery Dino has to spend time in the prison. When he may leave his only goal is to see his son again. But Dino also has the opportunity to start a glorious career as a rapper together with his friends Ricky and Jeffrey. Getting in touch with his son seems to be a bit more difficult, though. Dino’s ex, Chanta, prevents father and son from meeting each other. Against all odds he manages to spend time with his son in a beautiful indoor playground.
